Purely battery operated; fuzzy readout from a distance I was annoyed from the moment I took this clock out of its packaging. I don’t know how I missed it, but this clock does NOT plug into the wall. It’s purely battery operated. The last thing I want to do is constantly change out batteries in my nightstand clock. Fabulous, inexpensive, high visibility, lighted portable class clock! Okay I held out reviewing this for a couple of weeks and I made sure to review this as best I can. For the price, this item is worth it and It is very well made. Most people who wrote bad reviews got defects or drop their clocks during their use. I can’t be sure of which is which but I do know the common error is that the clock does not light up anymore which happen to me when I slam or hit my last clock too hard for the snooze button.
