Good Value — But Tick, Tick, Ticking in My Head Tick, tick, tick. Tick, tick, tick. I purchased this clock because I like the style (analog, white & black), it swivels, it takes a single AA battery, it can be seen from across a room, and it’s relatively inexpensive. As the old saying goes, you get what you pay for. Even though the materials are cheap plastic, you can’t tell until you pick it up and look closely.
