CHEAP LOOKING The clock itself is beautiful and fits into the spot where I wanted to hang a clock. I have an eclectic motif which includes artwork from France and other areas of Europe. Thank goodness the word “GARE” is spelled correctly, unlike the experiences of other buyers. The appearance to the eye is pleasing, just don’t hang it in a place where your guests will be able to notice the quality, or rather, the lack thereof. The clock is a decal on plywood. I’m not certain how well it keeps…
Such a pleasing looking clock Very cute vintage style clock with the flavor of Europe. The clock is paper upon pressed wood or something similar but looks very nice and quite authentic as far as these kinds of things go. It does take a AA battery which isn’t included. The clock is silent without noise of any kind. I put it in my bedroom that I’m decorating in a Paris theme. I’ve received some compliments specific to this clock which shows it is very pretty.
